Welcome to the site.

I live between Glasgow and Dunfermline. Might have seen a black widebody with hardtop around the town.

Hi folks, just to say I will be setting up a wee what's app group for this run. If you don't have what's app, let me know. And a warm welcome to our newbie Scottish Runners.

Well we took the Zed out yesterday into town, roof down on the way in with lovely weather, a few hours later after the cinema, we come out to torrential rain! It's the first time she has been out in the rain! We got back in her, to no leaks or puddles! It's such a different drive with the roof up..
Anyway, At least we now know she is water tight before our weekend away with you guys! We are really looking forward to the weekend away, not long now 😀

( pic from spring run )

Then back up to Thornhill to the cafe at the roundabout for a spot of lunch.
Fuelled up with an allday breakfast and a pot of tea it was off for a spin around Durisdeer pass and Mennock pass to see how the heather is getting on its very late this year due to the poor summer a lot is just in the brink of full flower so still 19 days till we are there with a bit of warm and sun fingers crossed will help.

Durisdeer pass.

UPDATE 29TH JULY 2024.

So guys thats everything pretty much set up for this run .
At some point next few days will get the My Route links up for those who wsnt route on their sat nav.

The best thing about all that scenery is that it will be different tomorrow  .
There's a growing purpleness to it all at the moment.
Hopefully with it being 3 - 4 weeks late there will still be some on the go for the Autumn run ( as we are usually passed its flowering spell by then )
Stephen

Amazing pictures, we haven't really explored this area of Scotland so really looking forward to it.

Wouldn't mind jumping on this now I'm back in the Z3 @Stevo7682 if it's not to late?

Let me know if it's an option and I'll see if I can get a pass out sorted - I was already attending Zedfest on the 18th so confident of my chances
