Hi all i am after changing the sensors on the zed, i have changed the Exhaust one already due to this failing and have decided to replace the other sensors. I am after the part numbers for the other sensors that i can change ie lambda, inlet i have had a look but typical realoem call them pulse sensors ping sensors and i cant find any for the lambda. All help greatly appreciated.

Unless I am mis-understanding you Bill, the exhaust sensor is the lambda sensor.
The others you mention are cam position sensors which are known as pulse sensors.
This diagram may help.

Thanks terry
I have looked at the diagram and i have changed No2 I take it i need to replace No3 but what is No7 I take it No1 is just a variant of No2 but with the lead attached.
Do you know what the part number for the MAF sensor is as i couldn't find it. All the Lambda sensors i have found on line look completely different to the ones in the Diagram
thanks
bill

If you know the last 7 digits if your VIN number I'll do a specific search for you. (PM them if you don't want to publish them on open forum)

Hi Jamezee
Now just skip along, eat your shepherd's pie and stop hi-jacking this sensitive topic :baa

Number 7 is the knock sensors which bolt to the engine and detect pre-ignition or PINKING which Terry knows all too well what that is in a Z3. ;)

Pinking ??.
That's the term used for daytime dogging during the summer when the suns out

Or in my case driving round with the top down in the summer with no hat on

:D :coolsteer)
