This is becoming a bit of a habit, once again close to the Torksey cruise time Mother Nature does her best to give us something to worry about. Hurricane Dorian is taking aim at Florida where it looks like landing on the Atlantic coast as a Cat4 storm somewhere close to West Palm Beach area.:(
There's still time for the track to change so here we wait fingers crossed.

After today's recce and thank you to @t-tony and Shirl for their hospitality, there was one point on the Google Maps route I uploaded that was a little bit out.

Second that, thanks to @t-tony & Shirl for all your hard work.

I'd loaded @mints roadmap onto my Garmin satnav, and I can vouch for that as well - its spot on, load with confidence.

Todays recce was worthwhile. I now have 'avoid toll roads' turned off (so I can get to Tonys). There are a couple of turns that are straight-ons, so satnav doesnt tell you, but keep an eye on the screen and its no problem.

Looking forward to next weekend then, see you there . . .

A big word of thanks to all the group leaders who could come over today for a pre cruise recce and lunch.( the weather had other ideas about a BBQ :mad:). We couldn't put this event on without all your help.

Next Sunday meeting time at the White Swan is 10.00am. First group away at 10.40 and then at 10 minute intervals (which will allow 10 mins for pictures at the photo point). I will ask that we can use the Pub toilets after 10.15.
