Event Shropshire Mini Cruise......Nimrod Guided Tour

We have the opportunity of a guided tour of an RAF Nimrod aircraft when we reach Cosford on Sunday afternoon. I have never taken this tour and cannot comment on its content but I would expect it to be very informative. Peteslag has made the enquiry and may come along with more info. There would be a charge of £5 per person on top of the £3 parking fee. Groups of 6 people per tour. Could I ask that anyone who would like to take the tour replies to this thread and I will create a list.

Thanks for creating this thread, great idea. Ok, a bit more from me. Car parking is 3 quid and entry to the museum is free. The guided tour of the Nimrod should be very interesting and great value at 5 quid. I'm not really into aircraft but I'm going on the tour, Nimrod is a fantastic piece of machinery steeped in history. If you fancy doing this please let me know asap.

No pronlem, It wasn't the highlight of the day but would have been interesting.

Just to confirm I'm going to cancel the Nimrod tour due to lack of interest. It would of been a nice way to finish the day but it certainly wasn't the main event. I'll see you guys on the 29th April, should be a great day out..

Shame about the Nimrod would have been a nice trip down memory lane, spent 6 hours in one many years ago swanning around the Atlantic
