Sills - MoT fail

Be cautious using POR 15, some users have experienced issues with moisture getting underneath it and rusting starting totally un-noticed beneath the hard top coat, there's some posts on here somewhere about it.

I did read some of them, but mine is now a garage queen and only out in the sun so I wasn't concerned. To be honest everything I was looking at putting on it had negative reviews about something or other, it all becomes a rabbit hole to me =))

I built a Marlin Cabrio kit car that came “factory powder coated” - it started flaking off before I had the suspension all bolted on!
I then had to strip all of it off down to bare metal before using the complete POR 15 treatment - de-rust, surface cleaner, primer, undercoat, top coat and finally sun coat.
15 years later it still looks good as new.
I certainly rate POR15 if applied as per instructions.
PS
I’m a typical male and don’t even read instructions usually😂 - but pleased I did tow the line with this one.

I need to do mine. Scared to take it apart lol
Me too. It's the cost of new sills that's putting me off... plus the thought of breaking something that can't easily be replaced.
