The first thing Martin did when I came home from work was to show me this!! And yes he sat there with a MASSIVE GRIN!!!

I miss having the top down though :(

I don't dislike the coupes in any way at all. I had a 3.0 si Z4 coupe in for test today, only 46K, on 108's a really nice car. I fetched Roy to sit in it for me and as he got in he said " You can't put the roof down !" and that's the crux of it for me. A sports car really needs to be a roadster for me.:):)

Tony.

That statement says it all Martin

I would have a coupe any day, that is why I did not take my hardtop off for three years, thinking about it, I did not, the boys at work did. Nicked my keys out of my jacket pocket....

I like the Z4 coupe more than I like the Z3 coupe

So that also says a lot you need a car where you can have the top down IMHO :)

Yep, agree, its great, but to be totally honest, not as a daily driver in the countries we live in. How often do we really get the roof down? Also got a bit feed up with leaking A-Pillars and a wet bum....

That's why you need an 'ordinary' car with a roof for those sort of days. Then when, (if), the sun shines, out with the Zed and down with the roof;)

Hadn't seen this one until today...

And that was when Top Gear WAS a petrol heads programn, remember it well, Martin just how old would you have been when Tiff was co hosting Top Gear. This is the only odd shaped car I have ever really liked, swap you Martin any day of the week.
Roy.

I get where you're coming from on that Mike, but on the rare days when the sun shines .............................................

Tony.

We (UK) only trail the Germans in Europe for soft tops, this is down to our mild climate which is much better suited for soft top motoring.:)

If I had the money Coupe for Winter and Roadster for Summer!! Which means 365 days of zedding AWESOME!!! :D:p
