I drive home at midnight every night from work. Since it was raining quite a bit lately and no one was around I decided to see if I could spin the wheels at the lights [I have an auto].

Turned off the ASC and planted the foot. Damn! The car didn't move much but those wheels were spinning like a ///M on a gravel road. This put a smile on the face.

Lifted the foot, activated the ASC, and sped off happy. :)

hooligan.....

I never switch that yellow triangle off. . . . . . er, I mean on!;)

I don't know if you had seen this when I posted it before. Many of the forum members have already seen this. @miller1098 has an ///M and a 2.8. He took me out in the ///M one morning for some "donuts". We had been driving the 2.8 the day before. You can hear him ask me if I could see the difference between the ///M and the 2.8. My answer reflects, generally, how I feel when he's driving me somewhere. ..

Sounds like great fun =))
Be careful tho :)

Surely you did this in the test drive before buying it? How else to tell the ASC works and the transmission is still solid?

I bought the car unseen! Risky but it paid off. I did ask a thousand questions though. Knowing what I know now I would nit do it again.

I bought mine unseen too from another country to boot (Scotland) but from an enthusiast with a documented history of everything.

I don't think he would have been happy if I got the wheels spinning on the test drive!
I don't recommend wheel spinning cars on test drives especially if the owner is next to you...

Ok Guys, I want an ///M. There is no way I can get one here in Australia which means I need to bring one over from England, which means I need to live there for a year and have possession of a ///M for that year, which means I need a job there. Who is offering me a job?
