Yes mate, Got it done week and a bit ago. Advised to leave it up for a week so nearly two for good measure. Dealt with Charlie and Glenn, both confident out going gents. Left car with them and sampled the delights of Chester. First time top down and up yesterday on trip away. All perfect thus far.

Sounds about right, think it was about £1200. £100 deposit and rest on completion.Navy blue with relief pockets. Took Hoodtech best part of the day which was fine. Coffee shop nextdoor and a artisan bakery steps away. Walked into Chester and Taxi back (£10).

Looks fantastic. Welcome to the blue roof club 🎉🎉

Looks great. I'm guessing its fully lined too.

It looks one of the best, but that's no bargain compared to other's prices.

However, some of the others have been "not quite right".

Is there ANYTHING wrong with it? I'd pay that price, but it would need to be PERFECT.

Can't fault it mate, looks the part. As a test it poured it down all last night and dry as a bone. Not a bead of water inside. Highly impressed with the fit.

Just for those considering a new roof and are not too far from Croydon

Soft-Tops have been around for years and Dee does a great job, £593 done mine recently. 1 week wait for an appointment and took 3 hours which gives you the chance to briefly look around beautiful Croydon.

Someone said they have closed down. ... would need another £593 in life insurance

Just to update new roof on zed. We're staying on the West of Arran for couple of nights and last night had the 50 mph gusts and lashing rain all night. All good have to report. No leaks or anything untoward. It has been tested!!

Arran is one of my most favourite places on earth. Used to go and play in the Brodick Golf Week (2nd week of May), when that was still a thing. Holiday golf . . .

Staying at Shiskine / Blackwaterfoot ? Never did get to Kings Cave (where Robert the Bruce was supposed to have seen his spiders web).

They will probably let you in the Lamlash Golf Club House for a bite, they still have pictures on the wall of the Dreadnoughts moored in the bay between there and Holy Isle.

Very special place Arran . . .

Blackwaterfoot mate . Kinloch hotel, Kate's put a thread up on write ups. Oops, you'll see on the thread she dropped her phone so using mine on her zroadster account. It's Rod writing this.
