Yep and if you get side swiped, you loose both sides of the front of the car in one go.

Yeah, but a side swipe would write the car off anyway, even if only one side was affected!

And a front swipe could F..k it up too you ask HT. I fitted a brace on my car last spring and it made a great deal of difference to my car in so far as cornering at higher speeds. Only way to find out is fit one and see for yourself.

Lets face it, the perceived monetary value of Z3's at the moment are so low even a minor shunt could write one off!
