Event Thoresby Classic Car Show 30/31 May 2021

The first of 3 shows being held at Thoresby this year is Sunday 30th and Monday 31st May.

The organisers have changed their processes for this year and it's all pay on the gate on the day. They also want clubs of 5 or more who want to display to fill out a booking form beforehand so adequate space can be allocated.

It's £5 per vehicle if you want to display your car or £9 per person if you are just going as a visitor.

All sounds a bit of a faff and entry times could be long if they're taking money on the gate. They could be slow when it was just a case of checking pre-booked tickets!

I will contact them tomorrow to confirm regards club stand, cars post 2007 and tickets from last year. Hopefully get the answers i will be looking for

I’m definitely up for this! If we go as a group, either day suits me!
I suspect the reason that it’s pay on the day is just in case the COVID restrictions change which causes the event to be cancelled. The last thing they would want is the administrative burden of refunds again!

The 25% rule for newer cars on club stands still seems to apply.
