regards

Geoff

The fittings should be present Geoff 2 studs on the rear of the condiments box and one eiher side at the top of the b pillers

Thanks Antm, I have looked and all four are there.
Is a cover worth £120 though ?

Apparently so i have heard,if these fixings are missing you have to hunt down second hand ones as NLA new

Hi Geoff..£120 is ok as long as all the fixing holes are good

The prices vary Geoff i've brought 2 a black and then a beige paid £100 for the black and £75 for the beige.
They come up alot in black ,beige not so but price is luck of the draw im afriad.
Whats on ebay at the moment is from £40-150 the 120 is not too bad you may do better but its falling on one right.
As mention just enquire all the fixings are intact and working so you can hold it on properly.

Or you could leave it on your roof ............................................................................ Only joking.;)=))=))

Tony.

ps. It's been a couple of days now @hard top

they do look smart when fitted , but the are a bugger to put on.

those fittings, called "Tenax" are available on ebay and tons of other places, however if you have the windshield thing, then you need the longer ones behind the seats. They are a bit more of a problem!

Yeh you right Ant ,the prices are all over the place on Ebay, got my tan one for £46 !! couldnt believe my luck..like new too..Especially when you see how expensive they are new..

If you aren't in a hurry wait on buying the first two or three advert zed on eBay. When people see what they've sold for they try to capitalize and the number of listings go up and prices go down. Paid £30 and £60 and the only reason I paid the £60 was due to the fact there was no shipping charges. JIM

Hi Mike I have both a roll bar and the Perspex wind shield fitted to my zed but cant see how they would affect the fitting of the tonneau cover but I have never actually seen one fitted.
I have now got the price down to £70 but if there is doubt that it will fit easy with shield or they are not easy to get on & off I may not proceed. What do you think ? Geoff

I forgot to say that my wind shield is the Perspex type from Lee fitted to the top of roll bar which gives a gap of about 2"plus gap at the bottom. Geoff

… they are not easy to get on…
Geoff, they are easy to get on and off once you know the knack. Mine fits with the wind deflector no problem.;)

Thanks Mint after Mikes post I was beginning to wonder. Geoff
I do it this way. It takes longer to watch the video than actually do it. I can do it in less than a minute easily, no rushing.

I use the same method its not a hard thing to fit as said only takes less than a minute.Have seen then fitted unfolded and that is where it becomes a nightmare , they finish the zed off when the roofs dropped alot more aesthetically pleasing.
