Urgent help no start!

Well I got sorted. Ended up calling an auto electrician for a diag check. It was the combination of the immobiliser and the key. Managed to get it back to normal after about an hour, although it did knock out my stereo so need to have a look at getting that back on but may be fuse or something. At least I got the car running again. Thanks for the input as usual guys!

Good news Andy. Hope you don't have the same problem again. If you do, you may have to re visit where you took the power for your head unit?:) Sometimes a very low battery voltage can induce immobiliser fault so if it does you may have a drain on the + side.

Tony.

joys of motoring :( if only they ended there, hope it dint hurt your pocket to much:thumbsup:

Pleased to hear you're back on the road Andy:thumbsup:

Great that's sorted

My chip had fell out of my key the night before as its abit old and comes apart, so I think this was why the immobiliser came on when I unlocked the car with the key and no chip. Managed to bypass the immobiliser to get it to crank and then once chip was back in the key she started up! Who knew the key was so important eh? Not me! Haha :banghead:
