Wheel Spacers - Again

Thanks Tony, that's tight;)
When I looked on Autodata it said 110 - 120 nm and I opted for the higher figure, without spacers I ran at 110.

Tony.

I'll go at 120 as well. Thanks mate:thumbsup:

Check the grade of bolts before you torque them. 120nm is ok for M12 grade 10.9 which is what they most likely are, in fact you can go to 130nm.

Mine are a 130nm, never had an issue.

The point I'm making is if the bolts are grade 8.8 or 9.8, anything over 90nm will stretch the threads. You wont notice until one fails. If they are grade 10.9 then 120nm is fine.

Mine are just arm tight, however I do make a little click with my tongue when its tight enough. :D

Am I going to tight then Gary?

Am I going to tight then Gary?

Not if they are grade 10.9, which they almost certainly will be, but 130nm is the highest recommended torque value for 12mm grade 10 bolts .

Come on @Minty where's the pics of them fitted on your zed ??
I know you fitted them this morning and you're still out on a test drive :coolsteer).

Yes, fitted them in the morning and it would have been rude not to go out to check them. Didn't get time to put photos up before we went out for the evening. I'll put them up later:thumbsup:
