What it says really, Where can i purchase "M " type rubber bushes for the front suspension online?

Everywhere I look they always seem to be in America, I am in England by the way.

Have you considered Poly bushes? If not try BMW dealerships they will be original parts and may not be as expensive as some non OEM parts. But would suggest Poly bushes may be the better option.

is there a reason why you are heading away from polybushes? - i was intending to fit arb and front wisbones over the winter

I fitted front wishbone poly bushes to my 2.8 when I did a total referb of the suspension (but no anywhere else stock OEM on the rest) I'd say they were a huge improvement, the ///M will be getting a set over the winter when she gets new shocks, I strongly believe they helped with the under-steer and the tram-lining. just my opinion.

fitted the polly bushes to mine and the improvement was amazing, had all polly on my MX5 and was perfectly fine and no squeaks but then I don't use copper grease they come with but use ptfe grease and people don't know but they come in a range of hardness so you can have them how you like though not to say I would not use rubber bushes and the solid ones look just the job to me its just that most if not all the negs you hear about pollys are wrong if you do it right :)

Well I had the solid rubber bushes fitted this morning!
The first thing I noticed was how much lighter the steering is, I can only assume that they have pulled everything back to the correct geometry.

Yes, they are quite a lot better than what was fitted before. Because they are solid or just because my originals were tired I can't say. Tramlining as pretty much gone, and the car just feels more accurate when aiming at corners. I am happy with them already.

As I work through the suspension and springs I hope everything I do makes it feel better. Eventually handling like a decent sports car.

I guess everything is just tired after 17 years and 73K miles.

Hi Mike, so fitting the solid bushes sorted the tram lining, what size wheels is your Z3 running on?
Mine is on 18 inch, and it tram lines badly. A lot of talk about poly bushes. Seems like the Z3M doesn't suffer, maybe because it has the solid bushes, similar to yours.
