Wipers only working on fast speed

Hi Guys, front wipers only work on fast speed, washers ok, intermittent wipe ok, intermittent wipers seems to work on the slow speed position. Any ideas please.

Couple of things spring to mind, faulty wiper stalk or faulty wiper relay, neither are too hard/expensive to replace. My gut feel would be the wiper stalk.
