Fnally got round to posting my finished wheels. Had them done three weeks ago in OEM colour, but once done the discs and calipers looked rough through the wheels, job snowballed, decided to refurb discs and calipers. Took the calipers off, both dust seals were perished and what I could see of the pistons were corroded, thought I'd get a repair kit for both sides £48 then stumbled across a company who sold re manufactured OEM calipers £74 for a pair, they came replated as well, saved the extra cost of caliper paint and actually painting them, bargain, overnight delivery no cost. Yippee. Pads were good, just needed cleaning. Discs had the usual rust on the outer and hubs, couldn't have that, so I rubbed them down, treated and painted them both. What with the wishbone bushes and drop links the front end is sorted. Rear end had new discs, pads, sway bar bushes and drop links last month, car drives so much better now.:)

Oh and by the way, I'm waiting for my new centre caps to arrive. I also used Poorboys wheel sealant on my new wheels, so easy to apply and much easier to clean the wheels now..

Looking good i did a vin check on my car last night and it left the factory with them wheels but have been changed in its life..
Car looks great nice to see a good clean brake set up behind a wheel always looks better... Topman looks good !!

That's what I thought, spend lots of money getting the wheels refurbed, got to do what's behind them to get the full effect. ( I even rubbed down and painted the wishbones) how sad is that, I really must get out more.
