Z3 1.9 Rough idle after start up

After I fitted a new thermostat to the car last weekend when I start it from cold now it runs really rough for a minute or two. It used to start no problem at all and now sometimes it actually cuts out unless I rev the engine.

What could this be peeps.

Alan,

The cam sensors are prone to failure which will cause rough idling and stalling. The sensor is easy to fit but it may be worth getting a code reader to hook up to the car to see if there are any error codes.

Is your engine a M43 or M44?

dont waste any time getting cheapy sensor like I did its just a waste of time and money :ymblushing:
