Z3 500 Mile Shakedown

First long drive of Bella (501.8) from West Cumbria to Stafford and a few places nearby and back. She ran like clockwork with everything working as it should. Roof down all weekend and clocked a max of 34.6 MPG and a minimum of 30.8 MPG. Without doubt the best driving position of any car I've owned or driven in the last 30 years and feeling almost relaxed after a loooong weekend.

Oh, and she gets away well at the M6 toll "Wacky Races", first, by some distance!!!

Is your mpg by calculation or from your OBC? I calculate mine every time I fill up and best I've had from mine is 32 on a trip to York and back. I get 28-29 on local trips.

My OBC says I'm getting 35ish on a run but in reality it's no where near

From my OBC @Jack Ratt. A good part of the way was in speed restricted areas of 50 MPH, other than a few bits of fun I was on an economy run to see what MPG she would do. Around town and on local roads I'm on about 26MPG.

@Steven Bostock good run home via Sedgley to see the in-laws. Defo be on future meets so hopefully we should meet again before to long.
