z3 abs control unit

@spurs fan in a coupe may have one .

It will need coded in if you find one .

Abs will work fine lights off etc its the traction control that needs coded light will go out on dash and go on and off with switch but wont actually work.

Whats wrong with the original as bar the solder joint that goes inside ( documented fix ) they are usually pretty reliable.

The 896/897 ASC ABS unit doesn't need coding in. Just drive it up the road and it will self learn.

They are a common problem on these, late E36 and early E46 cars. I've sold lots and ECU Testing have repaired hundreds if not thousands.

Older 2.8's have the ABS ECU inside the car behind the glovebox where moisture drips on them. 😂
