What do you mean by 'Inlet pipe?' There are pipes on either side of the airflow sensor - perhaps this is the areas you are referring to, or maybe not. . Please remember that we are not clairvoyant!

I think the official name is rubber boot. Guess it looks like one but with a hole at both ends!
