Z3 Seats

Hi are the electrical connections under the Z3 seats the same or do the alter from model to model.
I'm looking to swap seats

There are 2 styles of connectors for the seats depending on the age of the car. Newer seats can be fitted to the older cars with a wiring loom which BMW still sell. Older seats can be fitted to newer cars as well but I think you need to get creative with your soldering iron.

As Gaz said, plenty of info on that thread, the PN for the cable adapter is 61106916218 - think I paid ~£100 for the 2.

If you are upgrading to heated seats, you will also need a relay PN 61368373700.

Hi I think the seats have the new plugs according to the other thread .
I was a bit previous and bought a leather interior to replace a cloth one on a car I didn't buy in the end.
I shouldn't have problems as I'm after a newer rather than earlier car
