Event September 2nd. 2018 ..... Something will be happening

We are there already!!! Arrived at the Black Swan about 5 pm and went to The White Swan for a bite to eat, Ham Eggs and Chips, It was a case of eyes too big for belly and couldn't eat it all. Plenty of dog walking today, so totally knackered, should sleep well tonight. Planning on a bit of site seeing/walking tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting you all Saturday/Sunday.

Hi Alan, I saw your car as I dropped off the meal list to Julie. I didn't want to stop as still in my work clobber mate. If you like a walk come back to Torksey village tomorrow and turn 1st left on Station Rd. You can park on the roadside. Walk back across the main road and go up the old train embankment. There is the old railway bridge across the river Trent which has been made into a footpath and some good dog walks on the other side.

Hey mate, only just remembered I didn't reply to this.:( Yeah we need to leave a little earlier because we have 6 groups this time. I daren't ask Paul and Julie for breakfasts:eek:, but she did say tonight that the pub will be open for anyone needing to use the toilets.

We might be struggling for a dog sitter and we will be away from home from early hours until late, if we had to bring him would the pub let the dog in or could we eat outside?
 
The pub is dog friendly as far as I know Tony for eating inside. Maybe not in the dining room though. I suggest you give them a ring to be sure on 01427718653 ask for Julie (Landlady). It's looking like the weather will be fine for eating on the patio anyway.
